The Xinxing Hotel (Xinxing binguan) is located to the west of the city center. It is 8km from the heart of town, 8km from the railway station and 40km from the airport. Shuttle airport buses stop by the gate of the hotel.

There are a total of 358 rooms in this three star, ranging from standard rooms to suites. All of the rooms are equipped with DDD/IDD telephones, satellite televisions and central air-conditioning.

Recreational facilities include a cafe, a bar, a swimming pool, a bowling alley, massage & sauna services, a disco, a shopping arcade and a hair & beauty salon. Flight tickets can be booked from the hotel Ticket Office. The business center provides telex, cable, facsimile, photocopying & typing services, as well as secretarial work. Of the four meeting rooms, the largest is able to seat 300 people.

The two restaurants serve traditional Chinese cuisine that ranges through the styles of Chaozhou, Cantonese, Yangzhou and Sichuan. Some French cuisine is also available.
