Holiday Inn Temple of Heaven
Lying south of the Temple of Heaven, the Holiday Inn Temple of Heaven is not as close to the Temple of Heaven as it's name might suggest (20 minutes on foot, ten minutes by taxi). A few guests find it a bit remote from central Beijing, but others are happy to trade this convenience for the relative peace and quiet of the hotel's Fengtai location.As for the hotel itself, this Holiday Inn gets high marks for cleanliness and friendly, helpful service. The hotel's breakfast buffet is particularily popular with it's guests. As with the popular Holiday Inn Central Plaza, most guests find the slightly out-of-the-way location a minor inconvenience at worst and, at best, a pleasant opportunity to see something of a less touristy Beijing, with the hotel's solid value and quality more than making up the difference.
