All the 47 reserved trains arrived in Guangzhou, South China, yesterday evening to operate for the swelling railway "Chunyun" (intercity commutation before the Chinese Spring Festival) to and from the city, which is now under great transportation pressure.
The trains were specially maneuvered from other provinces across China by the Chinese Ministry of Railway. They consist of 893 coaches.
The technicians of the Guangzhou Railway Group are checking and equipping these trains. Afterwards the vehicles will be put into "Chunyun" operation.
Guangzhou has 99 temporary trains now, including the 47, ready for the "Chunyun" boom.
