Today is the 15th day of the 8th month on the Chinese lunar calendar. It is called the Mid-autumn Day. An old saying goes like that, the full moon of the Mid-autumn Day always appears one day after the Festival.
According to Guangdong Astronomy Association, the biggest and roundest moon of 2008 is to unveid itself at 17:13 tomorrow. Today's full moon will show its face at 23:45 during the midnight.
This year is the first year for the Mid-autumn Day announced to be an official holiday by the government. People will have more time to enjoy a reunion with their family members who work in differet cities in the country.
