Approved by the Ministry of Commerce, starting from the 106th Canton Fair, the duration of the fair will be adjusted from 23 days to 21 days. The time span for stand dismantling and construction is going to be shortened from 4 days to 3 days while the exhibiting time of 5 days in each phase remains unchanged. Following the new regulation, the schedule of the October 2009 Canton Fair will be from October 15 to 19 for Phase I, from October 23 to 27 for Phase II, from October 31 to November 4 for Phase III, with two intervals from October 20 to 22 and from October 28 to 30.
